HUDSON — Former Hudson Mayor Craig Shubert, candidate for State Representative in Ohio’s 34th House District, joined Carey Coleman, candidate for U.S. Congress in the 13th District, to speak with members of the Hudson Republican Club on Wednesday, April 22.

Mayor Shubert delivered an optimistic vision for Ohio’s future, highlighting the importance of
strong economic growth, expanding job opportunities, higher wages, lower taxes, and a world-class education system to keep Ohio competitive and thriving. He also emphasized the need for key infrastructure improvements across Akron, Hudson, Munroe Falls, Silver Lake, Stow, and Tallmadge—projects aimed at strengthening communities and supporting long-term prosperity.
Craig Shubert’s message resonated with attendees, particularly seniors concerned about rising property taxes, as he outlined practical solutions to protect homeowners and promote financial stability.

Craig closed by encouraging everyone to make their voices heard in the upcoming May 5th
Primary and to get involved in the campaign to bring new leadership and fresh energy to Ohio’s 34th House District.
